Update: Arrest Made in Subway Theft from Blind Woman

Latisha Richardson, 39, charged with grand larceny.

Police announced on Wednesday that they had made an arrest in the case of a blind woman who was pickpocketed in a Forest Hills subway station.

On April 16,

Police arrested 39-year-old Latisha Richardson of Merrick Boulevard in Queens on Wednesday.

Richardson has been charged with grand larceny, criminal possession of stolen property, criminal possession of a controlled substance and jostling, which is the criminal act of intentionally crowding or putting hands on a victim to aid in an act of theft by a third party.

Police are still looking for the second suspect in the theft, who has yet to be identified.
