Tamola Departs 112 Precinct

Forest Hills area police have new commanding officer.

in Forest Hills and Rego Park is under new command, as of this month.

In an e-mail sent to residents over the weekend, Precinct Council President Heidi Chain announced that the NYPD's 112 Precinct has a new commanding officer. 

Tamola's replacement in the precinct is Captain Thomas Conforti. Residents were invited to meet Conforti at the Precinct Council's next event on Wednesday, Sept. 19. 

Former CO, Deputy Inspector Christopher Tamola, has been promoted to a post at Patrol Borough Queens North, Chain said.
