Suspect Robs Bank With Bomb Threat Note

Man wanted after passing note with bomb threat.

Police are seeking the public's assistance in locating a suspect wanted in connection with a bank robbery in Maspeth in the 104 Precinct.

On Wednesday, April 18, a man approached the teller at the Maspeth Federal Savings Bank at 56-18 69th St. and passed a note saying he had a bomb. 

The teller, complying with the demand in the note, passed the suspect an undisclosed amount of cash.

The suspect then ran on foot south towards Flushing Avenue. 

He is described as a man between the ages of 18 and 20, between 140 and 170 pounds.

Police released photos of the suspect, which are above at right.
