Sexual Assault Incidents In Queens Have Police Seeking Suspect

Man sought for two groping incidents in neighboring precinct.

Two sexual assault incidents in a nearby police precinct have NYPD officers in the borough telling residents to remain vigilant.

The incidents occurred in July on consecutive days in the 115 Precinct, which includes Jackson Heights.

The first incident occurred on July 21 at around 3 p.m. on 88th Street in the neighborhood. An 18-year-old woman was assaulted from behind by the suspect, who grabbed her breast and then shoved her to the ground. The suspect then fled on foot in an unknown direction.

On July 22 at around 8:25 a.m., a suspect police believe to be the same person approached a 21-year-old woman and grabbed her breast before running away.

The suspect is described as a Hispanic male between 25 and 30 years old, roughly 5-foot-5 with black hair and a thin build. He spoke in Spanish during both incidents and was wearing sunglasses.
