Reward Offered in Forest Park Sexual Assault
The city and its Police Department are offering a total $22,000 for information leading to an arrest.
The city and the Police Department are offering a $22,000 reward for information leading to an arrest in a recent sexual assault in Forest Park.
Police said they are searching for a man who tased a 69-year-old woman at the park around 4:30 p.m. on Aug. 26, pushed her to the ground and raped her.
The suspect has been described as a white male between the ages of 30 and 40 years. The man was believed to be around five feet, nine inches with light brown hair, clean shaven and wearing a black T-shirt and black sweat pants.

The victim was treated and released from Queens General Hospital.
A $10,000 reward will be paid by the city for information leading to an arrest, while an additional $10,000 is being offered by the NYPD for an arrest and conviction and $2,000 from the NYPD’s Crime Stoppers hotline for an arrest and indictment.
