Police Say Forest Park Rape Suspect Could Be Linked to Other Incidents

At least five other incidents have occurred near park in past two years.

Police are linking a recent sexual assault in Forest Park to at five other incidents in the vicinity dating back several years.

The city and the NYPD are offering a $22,000 reward for information leading to an arrest in the Aug. 26 incident, during which a man tased a 69-year-old woman, pushed her to the ground and raped her.

But police said that the suspect may have also been responsible for a similar incident on March 29 when a 23-year-old woman was tased and assaulted.
