Police Seeking Two in Forest Hills Push-in Robbery

Suspects posed as water department employees.

are asking for the public's help in locating two men wanted in a push-in robbery.

During the incident, which took place on Aug. 14 at 2 p.m., two men approached a home in the area and knocked on the door. When the resident, an 89-year-old man answered, the suspects forced him into a rear room of the house and stole money and a cell phone.

There were no serious injuries reported in the incident, and the suspects fled in a late model red Jeep.

The suspects are described as men in their twenties, with dark complexion, about six-feet-tall and 200 pounds. 

They were wearing white T-shirts at the time of the incident.

If anyone has any information, they are asked to call Crime Stoppers at 1-800-577-TIPS (8477). The public can also submit their tips at the Crime stoppers website at WWW.NYPDCRIMESTOPPERS.COM or by texting their tips to 274637 (CRIMES) then entering TIP577.

how about giving a more detailed location without the exact address amybe streets and cross streets so that other residents may watchout for each other. A few years ago I spotted a few guys trying to do break ins and called 911 and 2 hours later the police came by and told me they arrested 4 guys.
