Police Seeking Suspect in Forest Hills Train Muggings

Suspect has stolen two iPhones at 67th Avenue station.

Police are asking for the public's help locating a suspect wanted for robberies on the subway inside the 112 Precinct in Forest Hills and Rego Park.

The first incident occurred on May 14, when the suspect grabbed a woman's iPhone at the 67th Avenue station right after the train doors opened.

The second incident, believed to be the same suspect, assaulted a woman at the same station on June 6, stealing her iPhone and MetroCard then fleeting the station. The victim was not seriously hurt.

The suspect is shown in the photo attached above, distributed by the NYPD. He is roughly 5'10" and around 150-160 pounds.

Anyone with information is asked to call Crime Stoppers at 1-800-577-TIPS.
