Police Seeking Suspect In Flushing Sexual Assault

Incident earlier this week occurred in nearby 109 Precinct.

Police in the nearby 109 Precinct are looking for a suspect in a sexual assault that took place on June 20.

At 5:19 a.m. Monday, the suspect allegedly entered the second floor of a flushing home and sexually assaulted an eight-year-old girl at the scene, before fleeing the home in an unknown direction, police said.

The victim was taken to a nearby hospital where she was treated and released, according to police.

The suspect in the assault is listed as a Hispanic man between the ages of 20 and 30, 5-foot-seven inches with a thin build and black hair. He was photographed at the scene carrying a light-colored drawstring backpack.

Police have also released a video and a sketch of the suspect in question.
