Police Seeking Suspect In Bank Robbery

Man stole cash from Queens bank over the weekend.

are asking for the public's assistance in locating a man wanted in connection with a Maspeth bank robbery last weekend.

On Saturday, at roughly 12:20 p.m., a man entered the Chase Bank at 69-55 Grand Avenue in Maspeth and passed a note to the teller, demanding cash.

After receiving the note, the teller forked over a messy pile of bills that the suspect quickly pocketed. Then he fled in an unknown direction.
There were no injuries during the incident.

Police described the man in question as a man in his 30's, 5-foot-eight-inches tall and 200 pounds. He was wearing dark tinted sunglasses, a black knit hat and a brown hooded sweatshirt.

He wore white cotton gloves with red plastic palms.
