Police Seek Mountain-Biking Sex Predator

Suspect approached girl on a bicycle and assaulted her.

Police in Queens are seeking a suspect in a sexual assault that occurred on Oct. 1.

The suspect approached his victim, an 11-year-old girl, at the intersection of Whitney Avenue and Broadway in Elmhurst at around 6:30 p.m. 

He was riding a black mountain bike, and approached his victim, who was also riding a bike at the time. The suspect allegedly asked the girl if she could help him fix his bike, then sexually assaulted her.

The suspect fled on his bike moments later in an unknown direction.

He is described as a white man between the ages of 35 and 45, roughly 6'2". He was riding a black mountain bike with a black seat and red stripes.
