Police Seeking Missing Forest Hills Man

Haig Kourdian, 80, has been missing since Sunday afternoon.

Police in the 112 Precinct are asking for the public's help in locating 80-year-old Haig Kourdian, of Alderton Street.

Working with Kourdian's family, police released a description and photograph of the man they're seeking. He is an 80-year-old man, with gray hair, between 5-foot-8 and 5-foot-10 inches tall.

At the time of his disappearance, he was wearing brown eye glasses, a brown leather jacket, gray pants, and black shoes. He has been missing since Sunday at around 12:30 p.m.

He is in good physical but poor mental health.

Kristina Rincon, Kourdian's granddaughter, said he suffers from Alzheimer's disease and is a smoker and that he walks at a very slow pace. This is the first time, Rincon said, that Kourdian has disappeared.
