Police Seeking Man Who Tried To Rob Post Office

Corona branch postal worker did not hand over any cash.

Police in Queens are asking for the public’s help solving an attempted robbery at a Post Office.

On July 19 at shortly after 1 p.m., the suspect walked through the line at the Roosevelt Avenue post office in Corona. The suspect passed a note to the mail worker at the window demanding an unspecified amount of cash.

The postal worker did not hand over any cash, and the suspect fled the location on foot.

The man is described as roughly 6-foot-3, in his forties, balding and was last seen wearing a yellow “Marshall Faulk” football jersey and blue jeans.
