Police Seeking Man in Stabbing

Victim was stabbed in Rego Park deli.

Warning, attached video depicts stabbing incident.

Police in theare seeking a suspect in a stabbing that took place inside a deli on 63rd Road.

The incident took place at the Rego Park International Deli at 5:45 p.m. on Sunday.

A suspect entered the deli, following his victim, and stabbed another man several times in the buttocks. The suspect immediately fled after the incident and ran in an unknown direction.

In video released of the incident, the attack takes place swiftly, in front of a child, before the suspects runs out of the deli. It is not immediately clear from the video what the suspect used to stab his victim.

The victim was taken to a nearby hospital and is in stable condition.

The suspect is between 30- and 40-years old, is 6'2" and roughly 220 pounds. He was wearing a white shirt, gray sweat pants, a black hat and black sneakers at the time of the attack.

The video attached at right shows both the suspect and the incident in question.
