Police Seeking Man In Connection With Queens Robberies

Two separate incidents in nearby precincts.

The is seeking the public’s assistance in locating a man believed to be responsible for the robberies of two separate gas stations in Queens.

The first incident occurred on March 10 in the 107 Precinct at 5:40 p.m. An Asian man between the ages of 25- and 35-years-old entered a Mobil Station at 147-10 Northern Blvd. armed with a handgun.

He demanded cash from the worker behind the counter, took an unknown amount of money and fled on foot.

The second incident occurred on March 24 at 5:20 p.m. A man of the same description entered a gas station at 174-02 Horace Harding Expressway in Fresh Meadows armed with a handgun. The incident unfolded in the same manner and the suspect fled.

Anyone with information about either of the incidents is asked to call Crime Stoppers at (800) 577-TIPS (8477). Tipsters can also submit information by logging onto Crime Stoppers at www.nypdcrimestoppers.com or by texting their tips to CRIMES (274637), then entering TIP577.
