Police Seeking Four In iPhone Theft

Teenagers slapped phone out of victim's hand.

are looking for a group of four teenagers allegedly involved in the theft of an iPhone from a local woman.

According to the police, a 26-year-old woman was walking on 97th Street when four teenagers approached her from behind.

They allegedly harassed the woman and slapped her iPhone out of her hand. When the phone fell to the ground, the teenagers jumped on it, picked it up and fled in an unknown direction before the victim had time to react. She was not seriously injured as a result of the incidents.

Police describe the alleged perpetrators as four teens, between the ages of 14- and 16-years-old, standing between 5-foot-5- and 5-foot-8-inches tall.

One of the suspects was wearing a white sweatshirt with a “B” emblazoned on it, two more were wearing white t-shirts and another was wearing a dark Adidas windbreaker.
