Police are seeking the public’s assistance in locating a man wanted in connection with a Queens bank robbery earlier this month.
Members of the NYPD said that on Tuesday, April 12 at 9:12 a.m., an unknown man walked into the Cross County Federal Savings bank on Fresh Pond Road and passed a note to the teller demanding cash.
After receiving the note, the teller counted out an unknown amount of cash and handed it to the suspect.

There was no evidence of a weapon during the incident, and no one was injured.
The suspect is described as a 35-year-old white man, standing about 5-foot-seven with a husky build.

At the time of the incident, the suspect was photographed wearing a dark blue hooded-sweatshirt, sunglasses, gloves and jeans with a knit hat.
