Police Seeking 106 Precinct Mugger

Man stole jewelry, iPod at gunpoint in Ozone Park.

Police in the nearby 106 Precinct are seeking a suspect in a mugging that occurred Oct. 16.

According to police, the victim was walking on 87th Street in Ozone Park whens he was approached by a man brandishing a handgun. The man demanded that she hand over all of her valuables. The victim did so, handing the suspect an iPod, a cell phone, cash and jewelry.

The victim was not injured during the mugging.

The suspect is described as a 22-28-year-old man between 5-foot-6 and 5-foot-8 inches tall. He was wearing a black baseball cap, blue sweatshirt and black jeans at the time of the attack.

Police also sent out a video of the suspect fleeing the scene.
