Police Seek Suspect in Church Break-In

Forest Hills church victim of break-in Tuesday, though nothing was stolen.

Local police in are looking for a suspect wanted in a break in at a Forest Hills church on Tuesday.

According to information from the 112 Precinct, the suspect broke a basement window at the Our Lady Queen of Martyrs church on Tuesday night at 11 p.m. 

The suspect entered the convent, but did not steal anything before leaving, police said.

He is described as 5'4" with a thin build, roughly 20-22-years-old. He was wearing a brown jacket at the time of the incident. 

If anyone has any information, they are asked to call Crime Stoppers at 1-800-577-TIPS (8477). The public can also submit their tips at the Crime Stoppers website at WWW.NYPDCRIMESTOPPERS.COM or by texting their tips to 274637 (CRIMES) then entering TIP577.
