Police Searching For Suspect In Subway Station Robberies

NYPD releases video of suspect in two transit assaults.

Police in Queens are asking for the public's help in locating a suspect who assaulted two women in the city's subway system last week.

The first incident took place on Aug. 2 at 7:25 a.m. The suspect allegedly assaulted a 35-year-old woman in a subway station at the corner of 88th Street and Liberty Avenue in Queens.

Just over an hour later the same suspect was allegedly at it again. At 8:45 a.m. in the subway station at the corner of Libery Avenue and Rockaway Boulevard, the man assaulted a 36-year-old woman.

In both cases, the suspect approached his victims and screamed obscenities before forcibly taking their cell phones and running away.
