Police On Lookout For Food Cart Robber

Man has victimized eight vendors and a cab driver in Queens.

Police in Queens are asking for the public's help in identifying a suspect wanted in connection with nearly a dozen food cart robberies across Queens, including two in the 112 Precinct.

During each incident, the suspect, armed with a gun, demands money from food cart vendors. So far, no one has been injured during the crime spree.

During one incident in the 110 Precinct, a livery cab driver was robbed.

The two incidents in the 112 Precinct both took place at the corner of Junction Boulevard and 62nd Drive near the Rego Center Mall. Once incident was on March 2, and the other was on March 5.

Other incidents have taken place up and down Queens Boulevard, as well.
The suspect is described as a man in his mid-twenties, between 5'10" and 6-feet tall, roughly 160 pounds.
