UPDATE: Police Find Missing Queens Toddler

Two-year-old Ashley Minaya was last seen Thursday morning.

UPDATE: Ashley was located in good condition, police said charges are currently pending for her father, Mario Minaya.

Police have issued an amber alert for a Queens two-year-old who was quickly found Thursday afternoon.

Thursday morning at 11 a.m. the mother of two-year-old Ashley Minaya allegedly received a call from the girl’s father, Mario Minaya, saying she would never see her daughter or him again. Ashley had been dropped off with Mario earlier that morning as her mother went to work.

After a brief investigation, police discovered that the girl and her father had last been seen at her home on 95th Street in Jackson Heights.

Ashley is described as Hispanic, two-years-old with brown hair and brown eyes. She was last seen wearing a pink jacket with pink shoes and brown leggings. She was possibly being pushed in a purple baby carriage by her father, Mario Minaya.

Mario is described as Hispanic, 33-years-old with brown hair and brown eyes, roughly five-feet-tall. He was last seen wearing a black sweatshirt with a black vest and green pants.

Anyone with any information is asked to call Crime Stoppers at 1-800-577-TIPS (8477).
