NYPD's Community Affairs Chief to Visit 112th Precinct Council on Oct. 16

Also, Capt. Thomas Conforti will provide updates on crime stats and safety concerns at the monthly meeting.

The city Police Department’s chief of community affairs will drop by the 112th Precinct Community Council’s monthly meeting on Oct. 16.

The meeting will be held at 7:30 p.m. at the precinct, which is located at 68-40 Austin St. in Forest Hills.

Chief Thomas Chan, of the NYPD’s Community Affairs Bureau, will speak to Forest Hills and Rego Park residents during the meeting.

Also, 112th Precinct Capt. Thomas Conforti will update attendees on safety concerns, discuss crime statistics for the community and answer questions.

Also, the precinct is currently hosting two contests with cash prizes to get local students thinking about safety issues.
