NYPD Seeking Suspect In Knife-Point Robbery At Liquor Store

Frustrated suspect stole no money but snatched one bottle of booze from Rego Park store.

Members of the New York Police Department are asking for the public’s assistance in locating a suspect wanted in connection with a knife-point attempted robbery at a Rego Park liquor store.

On Wednesday, June 29, a suspect entered the Liquor and Wines Store at 94-19 63rd Dr. in Rego Park.

The suspect quickly brandished a knife at the clerk behind the counter and demanded money. He tried to force open the cash register himself by hand, and when he failed, grabbed a liquor bottle off the counter and fled on foot in an unknown direction.

No one in the store was injured in the altercation.

Police are looking for a white man, between five-foot-one and five-foot-eleven inches tall, roughly 200 pounds with a shaved head and a goatee. He was wearing a black T-shirt with white shorts and sneakers.
