Local Precinct Seeking Rego Center Pickpockets

Three people sought in larcenies at local shopping center.

Police in the 112 Precinct are asking for the public's help in locating three people wanted in connection with a series of grand larceny incidents in the area.

On Sunday, May 6, a 63-year-old man was robbed by two people working together to steal his wallet. One suspect distracted him while the other picked his pocket.

The wallet contained credit cards that were used immediately at a nearby department store.

On Monday, May 7, at 3:30 p.m., one of the suspects from the previous day stole a wallet from the purse of a 34-year-old woman at the Rego Center Mall in Rego Park. The victim's card was used shortly thereafter.

On the same day, a third suspect stole a wallet from a 43-year-old woman's purse and used the credit cards inside at the Rego Center Mall shortly thereafter.

The first suspect is a man in his thirties with black hair and a streak dyed blonde on one side. He has the name "Rickey" tattooed on the side of his neck.

The second suspect is a woman in her later 30's with short black hair.

The third suspect is a woman in her 40's with short black hair and a light complexion.
