Forest Hills Synagogue Struck in Burglary

Religious artifacts stolen from Congregation Ahavath Sholom.

Police in Forest Hills are asking for the public's help finding several artifacts stolen from a synagogue in Forest Hills on June 18.

According to police, several valuable pieces including a pointer, Torah plates and a Kiddush cup were stolen from synagogue on 113th Street earlier this month. No suspects were seen breaking into the synagogue. 

Police have attached photos of the missing pieces.

If anyone has any information, they are asked to call Crime Stoppers at 1-800-577-TIPS (8477). The public can also submit their tips at the Crime stoppers website atWWW.NYPDCRIMESTOPPERS.COM or by texting their tips to 274637 (CRIMES) then entering TIP577.
