Forest Hills Police Looking For Suspect In Apartment Hold-Up

Man was robbed in staircase of building.

is asking for the public’s help in locating a suspect wanted in connection with a robbery on Yellowstone Boulevard in Forest Hills.

On Dec. 21 at 4:30 a.m., a 38-year-old man was approached in the staircase of his Yellowstone Boulevard building by the suspect, who brandished a firearm and demanded money.

The suspect took the victim’s wallet and credit cards while holding the man, and fled the building in an unknown direction.

The victim did not sustain any injuries during the robbery.

The suspect, shown in surveillance photos released by the NYPD, is described as 5-foot-8, roughly 160 pounds, between the ages of 25- and 30-years-old. He was wearing an Adidas sweatshirt with blue jeans and black sneakers at the time of the incident.
