Elderly Woman Struck by MTA Bus in Forest Hills

Woman taken to hospital for severe ankle injury after being hit by bus, police said.

An elderly woman was struck by an MTA bus as it turned a corner in Forest Hills on Wednesday, police said.

The 84-year-old woman was hit by the bus around 10 a.m. as it turned into Queens Boulevard’s westbound lane from 108th Street in Forest Hills.

Police said the woman was taken to Bellevue Hospital for a severe ankle injury as a result of the accident.
