Crime at a Glance: Assault and Grand Larceny Down This Week

Overall crime for the week dropped 15 percent, according to police statistics.

Crime dropped 15 percent in the 112th Precinct this past week with dips in two of the seven major crime categories, according to police statistics.

There were no murders or rapes during the past seven days in the precinct.

Felony assault was down from three incidents during the same week in November 2012 to one this past week.

There was one robbery and three grand larceny auto incidents this past week, which were the same number of incidents in both categories during the same week in November 2012.

Only burglary was up slightly from three incidents during the same week last year to four incidents this past week.

Overall crime for the year is down five percent.
