For the second week in a row, crime dropped 31 percent in the 112th Precinct with only one of the seven major crime categories seeing a slight increase.

There were no murders, rapes, felony assaults or burglaries during the past week. During the same week in 2012, there was one felony assault and three burglaries.

One robbery was reported during the week, which was the same number reported during the same week last year.

Grand larceny was the only crime category to see an increase - but only a slight one. There were nine incidents reported during the past week, up from eight incidents during the same week in 2012.

Overall, crime is down four percent for the year.
