Corrections Officer Accused of Sexual Conduct with Underage Girl

Defendant turned himself into the 112th Precinct, Queens DA says.

A 41-year-old Department of Corrections officer has been charged with engaging in sexual conduct with an underage girl, the Queens district attorney said.

Giovanny Campos surrendered himself to Forest Hills’ 112th Precinct on Jan. 7 and has been charged with endangering the welfare of a child and sexual abuse, Queens DA Richard Brown said.

The defendant met the girl, who is 16 years old, at a Christmas Eve party in Ozone Park and allegedly went on several dates with her in late December, the DA said.
