Cops Seek Man in Forest Hills Restaurant Robbery

Suspect sought in five robberies in Queens and Manhattan.

Police said they are searching for a suspect responsible for a series of robberies, including one incident in Forest Hills.

The suspect, who has pulled off five robberies since Aug. 6, has been described as a male wearing a black Oakland Raiders baseball cap, black shirt and sunglasses. He has a scar on the right side of his face and a tattoo with lettering on both of his arms.

On Aug. 9, the suspect entered Forest Hills’ Pasticceria Amore on 71st Road, simulated having a firearm and demanded cash, police said. He fled with an unknown amount of money in a black plastic bag.

Previously, the defendant had hit a Metro PCS Store on Woodside Avenue on Aug. 6 and robbed it in the same manner.

Other incidents include robberies at Manhattan’s Nagle Bakery on Aug. 7, OK Market on Madison Avenue on Aug. 8 and Broadway’s Convenience Grocery on Aug. 13.

Anyone with information regarding the incidents can call the NYPD’s Crime Stoppers hotline at 1-800-577-8477.
