Attempted Robbery At Queens Blvd. Chase Bank

Man passed teller a note demanding cash, left without money.

at 104-17 Queens Blvd. in Forest Hills was struck by an attempted bank robbery Thursday morning,

According to police, a man entered the bank at shortly after 9 a.m. wearing all black and passed the teller a note demanding cash.

The teller refused, and the man fled the location without any proceeds in an unknown direction.

Several squad cars were at the scene Thursday morning, and a helicopter circled overhead looking for the suspect.

One area resident said he saw “tons of police” in the area, blocking off the streets approaching the intersection while walking his dogs.

So far, no arrests have been made in connection with the incident, according to police.
