Arrests Made In Gas Station Hold-Up

have confirmed that the Mobil gas station and mini-mart located at 68-27 Woodhaven Blvd. was robbed just after midnight Friday morning.

According to reports from the Deputy Commissioner of Public Information, two men walked into the Mobil’s mini-mart location on Woodhaven Boulevard in Rego Park at 12:12 a.m. Friday morning, and demanded money.

Both men were wearing masks and black jackets to disguise their identities.

Police said that two men have been arrested in connection with the incident.

There has not yet been confirmation as to whether or not one of the suspects arrested was carrying a firearm, and used it to threaten the gas station workers behind the counter.

Employees at the gas station refused to comment on the incident on Friday morning.
