Alert: Special Precinct Meeting Tuesday Night

Police will update community after rash of burglaries in the neighborhood.

There will be a special community meeting of the 112 Precinct Community Council Tuesday night in Forest Hills, according to Council President Heidi Chain. 

Chain said police in the local 112 Precinct will be updating local residents after a rash of burglaries in the community in recent weeks.

The event will be held at Our Lady of Mercy Church at 70-01 Kessel St.

It will start at 7:30 p.m. on April 2. 

Commanding Officer Thomas Conforti will also be in attendance.
