112th Precinct Community Council to Host Harvest Fair

Event on Oct. 26 will include safety information, a costume contest and a puppet show.

The 112th Precinct Community Council will hold its first-ever harvest fair on the weekend before Halloween to provide safety tips for parents and children.

Heidi Chain, president of the council, said she expected the event, which will run from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. on Oct. 26, would draw a large crowd.

“We’ve done safety fairs before, but this is the first time we decided to do one right before Halloween,” she said.
