112th Precinct Community Council Hosts Safety-Themed Contests for Students

A November contest calls on students to discuss being safe on the Internet, while another in December is a poster competition.

The 112th Precinct Community Council is hosting two contests intended to get local students thinking about safety issues.

For November, the council is asking that students in fourth through 12th grade cover the topic of being safe on the Internet.

The students can create a poster, You Tube video or an essay on the topic. All entries are due at the precinct, located at 68-40 Austin St. in Forest Hills, by Nov. 11.
