""The Worse Co-op In Forest Hills""

And I'm not exaggerating when I utter these words of contempt. 4 years of noise, abuse, banging, yelling, stamping. If you fancy me a little frivolous or mad. Come by and check out the Co-op of horrors.

It all began in the summer of 2009 when I first moved in. I thought I had the whole world at my feet. As the weeks waned away I settled in  my nice quiet apartment. I made it. I sat down to read an interesting book escaping into the abyss of time. And in that
instance my whole world became a quick reality that serenity is a fleeting concept. BANG! BANG! CRASH! BANG! What the hell is going on?! It was as if a construction
site materialized out of nowhere. I quickly put my book down and scampered up the
stairs to see what that awful, nasty noise was.

I calmly composed myself, and politely knocked on my neighbor's door. She opened it.
A little puzzled. "Excuse me." I'm the neighbor downstairs." Could you please keep it
down?" She replied. "Are you the exterminator?" "No. Could you keep it down?" As she closed the door she was just as bewildered.

I made my way back down thinking this would be the end of it. More weeks, and months have come and gone, realizing this is just the beginning to a series of me, and my 75 year old roommate running up and down the stairs pleading for quiet.
The more we pleaded. The more tyrannical they become. After my many attempts I
finally gave in and contacted management, Co-op Board, the police, and anyone else
who would listen. To no avail they were just as detached. Then one day someone slid a secret
document under my door revealing the buildings improprieties. It mentioned people moving out as quickly as they moved it.

Old supers beating, and abusing their wives, beating up tenants because they have a different sexual preference. It spoke of illegal conversions that tenants, and the Co-op Board is involved in. It stated Co-op Board members threatening tenants with violence because they don't share the same ideology as the Board.

As my eyes panned over this secret document I could not believe what I was reading. It was the Coup de gras of why all this madness made sense. Why no one ever got involved. It revealed how the Board was seeking nefarious Gang members to work in their building to
either intimidate or make people disappear. Not quite sure. All I know is I can not get the noise to stop. If you find this all too hard to believe. Come by 76 road and investigate for yourself. I dare you.

In all fairness. There is one guy who tried to help. I leave that story for another day.
