Kaporos is an ancient ritual where people swing live chickens over their heads, then cut the chicken's throats and leave them to die like garbage, in order to 'appease' God. This is a human creation - nowhere does the Bible suggest anything like this. Many caring people have adapted this to use money instead of chickens, who suffer and die needlessly.
