Want to Advertise For Google and Not Get Paid?

If you're like most people the answer to the question in this title is probably "No".  However Google is rolling out a new terms of service.  See related article.

Google does give you an option however to opt out of this.  By logging into Google+ and going to the shared endorsements page, you can opt out.  At the bottom of the page you will see the following, "Based upon my activity, Google may show my name and profile photo in shared endorsements that appear in ads." Make sure that the box to the left of this statement is not checked. One other thing: You need to click the "Save " button to the right of the statement noted. With this box being unchecked and then saved, Google won't show your name and/or profile picture in shared endorsements that appear in ads.

This will not cover everything.  Websites that you +1 and apps that you like on Google Play may still show your name and photo. Note also that if you manage a page you need to opt out there too in the same manner as noted above.
