Where to Buy a Christmas Tree in Queens

Patch has listed six local spots where you can find a Christmas tree this holiday season.

Put away those Thanksgiving leftovers and break out the Christmas tree.

While you still have more than three weeks until Christmas, it’s never too early to start searching for a tree.

There are several nearby spots where you can find a tree and Patch has listed them below. If you know of other places in Queens to buy a Christmas tree, please let us know in the comment section below.

Anne’s Treeland (64-33 Woodhaven Blvd.)- This Rego Park family-owned business sells Balsam and Fraser firs as well as double-faced wreaths.

Manor Trees- This tree seller has not yet set up for the season. But keep an eye on the front of Douglaston’s Zion Episcopal Church, located at 243-01 Northern Blvd., in the next week or so. Manor typically lines the wall in front the church for at least a block with Christmas trees.

Queens County Farm Museum (73-50 Little Neck Parkway)- The farm will run its Christmas tree sale from Dec. 1 to 24. Popular varieties of trees, evergreen wreaths, poinsettia, Amaryllis and paperwhites will be for sale.

J.G. Brands (235th Street and Hillside Avenue)- This Bellerose tree seller, which has been in the five boroughs since 1950, sells trees, wreaths and roping.

House of Holiday (90-02 Atlantic Ave.)- This Ozone Park-based store sells artificial trees as well as numerous Christmas decorations.

Elwood Christmas Tree Farm (1500 East Jericho Turnpike)- This farm, located in Huntington, Long Island, allows visitors to cut their own trees. It grows Norway and White and Blue Spruce, Douglas and Fraser Firs and Scotch Pine.
