Queens Community House to Hold Holiday Bazaar

Nonprofit will use event to raise money for its programs for youths and adults.

Forest Hills’ Queens Community House will hold a holiday bazaar on Dec. 13 that will raise money for the center’s programs for youths and adults.

The nonprofit will hold its bazaar from 10 a.m. to 5:30 p.m. at its Forest Hills site, located at 108-25 62nd Drive.

Attendees will be able to purchase a wide selection of Christmas ornaments and holiday decorations, such as vintage, boutique and brand name items, including Lennox, Waterford and Christopher Radko.

All proceeds from the event will go toward the Community House’s 36 programs for children, youths, families and older adults.

Also, the nonprofit will hold a toy drive during the event. Staff will collect new, unwrapped toys for children, ages 7 to 11 years, in the center’s Pomonok after-school program.
