An online campaign dedicated to raising money for the cremation of a beloved pet has raised $125 .

Fresh Meadows' Fallen Faith created a GoFundMe page titled "Tequila Rose Cremation and Memorial Fund." The total fundraising goal for the campaign is $3,000. So far, five people have donated to the initiative.

The page reads:

This is my princess, Tequila Rose. I have had her since she was 6 weeks old and now she is dying. I have had her with me through all my life and I wish to continue to.

If you would like to donate to Tequila Rose's cremation and memorial fund, your genuine love and best wishes can be immortalized with an earnest gift to one of the sweetest companions I could have been graced with.

She has been the best, loyal dog and I'm proud to have raised her and called her my "Pookiss". If there is a single reason to believe in heaven, it's that I heard all dogs go there and so I will see you again, my sweety baby.

It does not cost $3,000 to cremate a dog. I just cremated my 70 lb. dog - it cost less than $300 (and I'm having the ashes returned to me). This sounds suspicious to me!
