Come Join an Exciting New Project in Forest Hills!
Come discuss next steps and meet your neighbors!
At the very successful Community Earth Day Fair, it was clear that Forest Hills residents have a great interest in sustainable and healthy food.
Sustainable Forest Hills wants to collaborate with other groups to develop one or more highly visible projects in Forest Hills. We seek collaborators for ongoing community awareness raising events around gardening and sustainability.

- Come propose a site for a community garden, rooftop farm, or compost collection site.
- Should we try to set up a farmer's market?
- Do you have space for a garden but little time or knowledge for gardening? Or are you a willing gardener with no yard? We could try the garden share system that's started in Brooklyn, matching neighbors. Visit bk farmyards.
- Would you like to set up onsite school gardens with the NYC School Gardens Initiative?
