Resound, the technology leader in hearing solutions, has launched Resound Alera, the industry’s first truly wireless hearing aid. Advanced Hearing Center is now partnering with the hearing technology manufacturer to offer their patients the latest advancement in hearing aid technology.
Alera’s special iSolate nano-tech coating will protect the hearing aid from water, perspiration and corrosion, which is a terrific advantage for everyone particularly in the summer, and an additional bonus for our snowbirds enjoying summer almost year round.
Participants will be able to assess the new Alera by ReSound for a two-week, risk-free trial. Alera’s wireless technology can be easily fitted without the use of a device to connect the hearing aid to the fitting software. All that is needed is the AirLink fitting accessory, which is inserted into the USB port of a computer – no strings attached. This technology has been proven in the gaming industry and in the use of wireless keyboards.

Dr. Amy Sapodin and Dr. Alison Hoffmann, co-owners of Advanced Hearing Center, diagnose and treat hearing loss, perform hearing aid evaluations, and provide ongoing maintenance of hearing instruments.
