SEN. ADDABBO'S FREE METRO CARD VAN IN HOWARD BEACH

SENATOR ADDABBO'S METRO CARD VAN COMES TO HOWARD BEACH ON OCTOBER 30


The van will park at 157th and 84th Streets; senior center is temporarily relocated to Fr. Dooley Hall at St. Helen's.  The van sales staff will assist ages 65+ and disabled customers in applying for reduced fare MetroCards; purchase and/or refill MetroCards; report a lost or stolen card; have a damaged card replaced on site. For reduced-fare, bring at least 2 types of ID:  Medicare or Social Security card; birth certificate, driver's license; or non-driver ID. Disabled can get application on site to be completed by their doctor, acknowledging their disability. A photographer is on van to complete applications on site, free.
