LHEVINNE CLASSICAL CONCERT SERIES IN KEW GARDENS SEPTEMBER 21 WITH PIANIST STEVEN GRAFF

LHEVINNE CLASSICAL CONCERT WITH PIANIST STEVEN GRAFF AT MAPLE GROVE, KEW GARDENS 

The September 21 hour-long concert features renowned pianist Steven Graff, who returns to Celebration Hall in The Center at Maple Grove. Pre-concert wine and cheese reception at 7:30 PM. Free parking; handicap accessible. The Friends of Maple Grove group is a member of ASCAP.  The concert series is named for world-class pianists and Juilliard School teachers Josef and Rosina Lhevinne, who are interred at Maple Grove Cemetery.  Their pupils included Van Cliburn and Oscar-winning composer John Williams. Call 347-878-6641 for reservations; seating is limited. Pay at the door:  $25, $20 for seniors, $15 for members. Checks are payable to Friends of Maple Grove Cemetery (include name, number of tickets).
