CELEBRATE ISRAEL RUN AND KIDS' RACES COMING TO NEW YORK'S CENTRAL PARK ON SUNDAY, JUNE 1ST

The NYRR Celebrate Israel Run presented by the Jewish Community Relations Council of New York (JCRC-NY) at www.nyrr.org will take place on Sunday, June, 1st, at 8:00 am on Center Road in Central Park. Kids' races for ages 2 through 12 will begin at 9:30 a.m. Following the races, the Celebrate Israel Parade marking its 50th anniversary will take place along Fifth Avenue from 11am - 4pm. 

The Celebrate Israel Run is part of the larger Celebrate Israel Initiative, a partnership between JCRC-NY, the Consulate General of Israel in New York and UJA-Federation of New York, aimed at honoring the impact Israel has on the lives of New Yorkers. The Initiative produces arts, sports and community events and programs that provide meaningful opportunities for New Yorkers to come together and honor the Jewish State.

The parade will take place rain or shine. 

**Please note that the Celebrate Israel Parade will start at 11:00 a.m. on Fifth Avenue. You will not be able to exit Central Park via 72nd Street onto Fifth Avenue. Please plan accordingly.
