An Evening of New York Composers presented by Musica Reginae

Musica Reginae presents its Second Annual Composers' Forum, a concert that showcases compelling new music for small ensembles by emerging and well-established New York composers. This year our forum is part of the Third Annual Queens New Music Festival, and our concert on May 10th kicks off the festival. All of the artists and composers teach or reside in New York City.

The concert will feature the HILO Duo of Caroline Eva Chin (violin) and Brian Snow (cello), a Brooklyn-based husband and wife team who excel at the interpretation of new music to audiences of all generations. They will be joined by composer-pianists Sunny Knable and David Schober. Barbara Podgurski, Artistic Director for Musica Reginae, will moderate the concert and several composers will introduce their works. Meet the performers and composers at a complimentary reception following the concert.
