Oct. 27: Local shopping, police on patrol and more!

It's an exciting — and unseasonably warm — time in Forest Hills.

The weather has been beautiful, though there's rain in the forecast today. Fortunately, Forest Hills should dodge the wind storms that harassed the Midwest on Tuesday. If you're looking for something to do or just need to know what's up, check with us! We've got five things you need to know today.

1.     Be sure to check in with our continuing election coverage as we move towards the mid-term elections next week. Today's feature is a pair of Q & A sessions with local candidates.

2.     Looking for a way to stretch your legs despite the wet weather? Be sure to swing by the Dad's Indoor Soccer League at the Forest Hills Jewish Center.
